Danielle Angellakis is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in the state of Florida currently working towards licensure. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Andrews University. She has worked in various capacities: juvenile corrections, residential substance abuse, outpatient community mental health, and in-home services. Danielle is formally trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and facilitates EMDR. She is also working towards becoming a Certified Addiction Specialist. Danielle approaches each client as an individual, tailoring treatment objectives towards helping her clients develop and sustain a life worth living for. Danielle provides LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy services and works towards being an ally for all her clients. Her compassion and cultural sensitivity allow her to connect with her clients and provide a safe therapeutic environment.
Danielle ("Dani") Thomassy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addiction Professional, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Dani received her Master's degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, where she graduated with top honors. She has extensive experience in working with trauma and PTSD, developmental immaturity, compulsive behaviors, anxiety/depressive disorders, extreme grief, self-harm, mood disorders, relationship issues, parenting/co-parenting, family dynamics, and personal growth/life transitional challenges. Dani facilitates Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients heal from emotional, physical, and psychological pain, specifically regarding negative life experiences. Dani is trained in Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which she incorporates into therapy by using mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation.
