Danielle Thomassy, LCSW, CAP, CCTP
Danielle ("Dani") Thomassy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addiction Professional, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Additionally, Dani is a Qualified Supervisor of clinical social work interns in Florida. Dani earned her Master of Social Work degree from Florida Atlantic University and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Florida State University. She has extensive experience in working with complex trauma and PTSD, dissociative disorders and personality disorders, developmental immaturity, anxiety/depressive disorders, relationship issues, family dynamics, and personal growth/life transitional challenges. The approach Dani takes to working with her clients is anchored in empathy, honesty, and targeting the root cause of complex emotional pain. Dani has a direct, yet compassionate rapport with her clients. Dani has had extensive advanced training in EMDR. Additionally, she is EMDRIA Certified in EMDR. Dani is an expert in her field. Additionally, Dani is formally trained in Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which she incorporates into her therapeutic practice with clients.
Danielle Angellakis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Andrews University. Danielle uses a combination of somatic therapies, behavioral interventions, and EMDR therapy to promote the gentle release of trauma from the mind and body. She works with her clients by utilizing a body-based, nervous system informed approach to determine what is causing the emotions, pain, and struggle that bring her clients therapy. She is formally trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Radically Open DBT (level 1 training), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Somatic Integration and Processing. Danielle is passionate about working with survivors of narcissistic abuse, chronic anxiety, and neurodivergence. Danielle provides LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy services and works towards being an ally for all her clients. Her compassion and cultural sensitivity allow her to connect with her clients and provide a safe, therapeutic, and healing environment.
